These are just some that we are looking at right now. I have twin 5 yo's and a 6.5 yo. We are going to do Social Studies, Science, and most of the Literature together. I will adapt the narrations and copywork to their age but most of our reading will be handled as a family. They each gleen thier own information from what we read. I believe this is the path the Lord has shown me in educating my children. Working and worshipping together as a family throughout our day.
Science/ Nature Study
One of the first things I add to our nature study schedule is the "Outdoor Hour" challenge that we recieve weekly from Barb- Harmony Art Mom. We schedule this for one day a week using Anna Botsford Comstock's, "Handbook of Nature Study" You can find the FREE online version of this book here. Or purchase it here from amazon. Our nature studies (which is science now) are so much more interesting and valuable as a family. Sometimes even the 4 yo's pick up things that my 6 yo and even I miss. We ALWAYS seem to learn something from each other!
